The LIBRARY CLUB is composed of Junior and Senior High Students who work many hours each week to serve Treadwell School. The JUNIOR RED CROSS program gives young people an opportunity to serve others. Many of the finest activities going on in our community and nation are car- ried out by men and women who give gen- erously of their time and money expecting nothing in return except the knowledge that what they are doing is worth their effort. You boys and girls will one day take their places. The SPANISH I CLUB is composed of those students who are taking first year Spanish. For their initiation, the first year students are required to dress as Spanish Senores and Senoritas and sing Spanish folk songs. This year Spanish I held its meetings iointly with Spanish Il. The SPANISH Il CLUB is composed of second year Spanish students and former students who have had two years of the language. Three annual events which are always eagerly anticipated by the members are the initiation party, the Christmas pinatas, and the Mexican supper held in the spring. sixty-eight E l A The Treadwell KEY CLUB is a service organization which is com- posed of about thirty key boys chosen from the Senior High School, and is sponsored by the Memphis Kiawanis Club. The obiectives of the club are to develop initiative and leadership, to provide experience in living and working together, to serve the school, and to provide for useful citizenship. Service with a smile, refreshing Coca-Cola, that is the motto of the Key Club during the basketball season.
