To architecture, as well as to the handcrafting of household utensils, the Trojans brought a great feeling for purity, elegance and function. It is beautiful to see the footgear ranged in a row ... garments sorted according to their use ... cooking pots arranged with sense and symmetry. Beauty was above price. But a taste for beauty must not be overindulged; the Trojan rule that everything in life must be enjoyed in moderation, applies to us the students of Traverse City Senior High. We enjoy creating new and different visions of what beauty means to us. Students express their views of beauty through art, poetry, music, sports, and everyday living. Harmonizing these visions of beauty to our school makes for a balanced exciting, and memorable year.

 here The Rewards Of Valor Are The Great And Bravest Spirits Trojan warriors had a great feeling for fierce, competitive spirit. Spirit meant to Trojans, a sense of strength and power over others and was a method used in winning the hearts of others. Except in rare instances all games were contested in the nude — for nudity was the natural way to exercise, and it fostered pride in physical fitness and shame at being flabby. War was considered the primary test of a Trojan, but style in war is quite different to us the students. Our spirit emerges through pep assemblies, tug-of-wars, various sports activities and just being ourselves. Expressing spirit is another way of praising those who have so bravely brought triumph to our school.
