Homecoming 1975 was sparked by an exciting week of activity, clearly demonstrated by the spirit of the entire football season. Pep assemblies and wing decoration competition aided in boosting the Trojan spirit. In the float competition, the class of '76 portrayed their theme, Eat 'Em Up Trojans; It's Only A-Buck-An-Ear . The juniors chosen theme; Go '77, Blast The Bucks To Heaven,” along with a large bomb blasting the Bucks earned them second place, while the Soph's ended up in third place as their float showed how to Bury The Buck's”. Like all regular contests this season, the homecoming game was a victory, this time over the Grand Haven Bucs by a score of 48-8. Following the game, Sue Lang and Mark Brammer were crowned Homecoming Queen and King. Posseum Kreek provided the entertainment at the dance.

The 'Spirit of 76 was the motto of the 1975-76 Pep Club, advised by Mr. John Sonnemann who was gracious with his time and patience. This year's Pep Club had many duties. After the exciting football season, preparations began immediately for the basketball, wrestling and baseball seasons as well as other seasonal sports activities. With the help of many spirited Trojan boosters, the Pep Clubbers accompanied the sports teams to many of their clashes with our ''rivals on the road”. Many thanks to the Pep Club officers for their efforts toward promoting a better school spirit.
