V-l-C-T-O-R-Y IS OUR CRY “Let's get fired up! Entertaining and inspiring, the 1974-75 cheerleaders whipped up support for this year's football and basketball teams. Large followings at the away games, including the football team's heart-and-season breaking 24-20 loss at Muskegon, and heated enthusiasm at all the games was due, in more than a small part, to the cheerleaders. Led by co-captains Debbi Whaley and Carol Gri-shaw, the cheerleaders and students exhibited spirit that merited comment by opposing school officials. The J.V.'s got organized only to cheer at the last three J.V. home football games, Homecoming game, and the season-ending SnowBowl game. 3 8 4
