KAPPA ALPHA ALPHA THETA CHAPTER The 75th anniversary of Kappa Alpha and the 50th anniversary of Alpha Theta Chapter were duly cele- brated this year. The KA ' s added to the pre-hollday festivities with a Xmas party, and distinguished them- selves, as usual, with their formal. Two of the Transy day principles this year are KA ' s, with Ben Burns reigning as Mr. Pioneer and Ed Alder- man as his second attendant. Ace ad-getters Lane and Riley business managed the Rambler and T-Book. Bob Houston was Freshman class president, and George Anderson shone as Co-Lampas Queen. PHI KAPPA TAU THETA CHAPTER The interests of the Phi Tau ' s are widespread on the Transy campus. ' Doc ' Wilson Is vice-president of the Senior class; Jack fHayes, tenor soloist with the choir, pounds the gavel at Junior class nneetings. Cliff Web- ster keeps the Student Council money bags, and Frank hienry manages football. George Riley. Phi Tau chief, also presides over meetings of Men ' s Pan-Hellenic. Other members of Phi Kappa Tau play football and basketball, sing in the a capella choir, sit in on Lampas meetings, debate for Pi Kappa Delta, and whoop it up for dear old Transy with the Crimson Club.
