Ker- man was host to volleyball play days, Central to speed- away, Riverdale to basketball, and Tranquillity softball and swimming. New members were initiated at a slumber party at the home ot Adviser Rena Durbahn. Boys got to relax for a change as they were invited by the girls to the tra- ditional Backwards Dance. Another GAA idea was Blos- som Day, where flowers adorned the school, and kids started wearing spring clothes. GAA had cake sales in the cafeteria to raise money, and also sock hops' in the gym.
