The S.F. Bazaar As president of the S.F., I can personally say the bazaar this year was a great success. Of course, I ' m biased but I ' ve no doubt everyone will agree! This year we expanded the international table into separate pavilions! And the efforts of the girls involved was just great. Also we tried a Kissing Booth this year... What can I say, a kissing booth is just a kissing booth! We did cheat, though, by handing out chocolate kisses! The Whitby paper even caught a certain happy couple exchanging more than chocolate. (Not naming any names, Tracy!) I must say that on the big day I nearly died from panic, but as usual all my group came through in full force (and effort!) I don ' t know why I doubted them. I want to personally and publicly thank everyone, teacher and student, who participated this year. Without you, it couldn ' t have been a success. As you may have noticed, the S.F. title changed. Since I joined, I hoped it also indicates a change in pace for the group. I have enjoyed being president and have discovered that although it ' s a bit scary, at first, it ' s also loads of fun. I hope my replacement has as much fun as I did and an opportunity to make the friends that I did. Ayesha Khan President of S.F.

Fulford Debate Debating has been, well, debatable, this year. There were many members in this year ' s debating society, and all participated, in one way or another. Our Fulford Tournament in November was a phenomenal success due to the hard work of the members and of our two coaches, Mr, Palmer and Mrs. Bagnall. Our own school teams did well this year, finishing 8th and 10th, respectively, at the junior and senior levels. Debates and debating workshops at other schools were successful, as were those at our own school. House debates, with Maxwell coming out on top, were interesting. All the best of luck to my successor, and good luck finding a tie for Mr. Palmer. Sarah Arulanandam
