TRAFALGAR CASTLE SCHOOL 401 Reynolds Street Whitby, Ontario Canada LIN 3 W9 Dear old Trafalgar Hear though our hymn of praise. Hearts full of love we raise Proudly to thee. Thy splendour never falls, Truth dwells within thy walls, Thy beauty still enthralls DearT.C.S. Through thee we honour Truth, virtue, loveliness. Thy friendships e ' er possess Our constancy. Thy spirit fills us through. So we ' ll be ever true To our dear blue and blue OfT.C.S. O! Alma Mater: How can we from thee part? Thou only hast our heart. Dearest of schools. Thy glory we shall see Wherever we may be. Still love OfT.C.S. Our future rules Cover design by Michele Ngai Editorial It is a honour for me to be the editor of the yearbook. This year has been a special one to me since I am also graduating. It seems extremely challenging to me, as a Chinese to take over this task, as English is not my first language. Also I almost know nothing about this job. To me, the yearbook itself has been like a baby, who has been nurtured by many efforts. These efforts were from the advisors, contributors and most important of all, from our yearbook club members. We can see that the baby is now well-grown, however, it still needs the counsel and support from the teachers and all those who have helped us through this year. To be a full-grown adult I understand that we may have to walk as our own in the future. With all the insights we have acquired from every field, I am sure we will not walk without fear. Last, but not least, I would like to thank Mr. Yamcke for giving me a chance, to Mr. Richard, for his dedication, and special thanks to my roommate, Yan Yan, without her help I wouldn ' t be able to finish this book! All the best to next year ' s editor. Also may I send my sincerest gratitude and best wishes to all of you. Here then is the yearbook. Love for 1987. Its merits you may credit to my helpers; its defects you should blame on me. There has been laughter, song, tears, hard work, disagreements and moments for reflection. As you look back, you will remember the friendships, the hopes and the dreams you shared whole at Trafalgar Castle. They will be one of the many pearls of Ufe. Good luck, Ann Wiggins Principars Message Once again it is yearbook time - the years roll by. This year, due to the double graduation of grade thirteen and the first batch of OSIS students out of grade twelve, a greater number of girls will be leaving us to go on to university and new lives beyond our walls. For this group of nearly sixty, this book will serve as a memory chest for years to come. The loss of such a large number will be intensely felt by those of us who stay behind. So many of them have had long and full careers at the school and under other circumstances a number of them would have been returning to us to take up positions of leadership in the school next year. We wish them Godspeed. Let me offer congratulations to the editors of this important book. It serves not only as an opportunity for creativity but more importantly as a record of our accomplishments and as a memory bank of our experiences and friendships. In years to come we will look to it with interest and sentiment. Commencement On September 5th, our annual Commencement ceremonies took place. Many of our graduates returned from a wide range of Universities, where they are presently studying, to receive their diplomas and awards. The Valedictorian, Afshan Javed, gave a very touching farewell that brought tears to the eyes of those who would dearly miss the graduating class. We were particularly proud of both Nicole Taylor who won many awards, including the University of Womens ' Club of Oshawa Scholarship and Judy Wong who won the University of Toronto Open Admissions Scholarship. Our new Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mitchell, spoke of the past, present and, most importantly, future of our school. The sense of pride that he expressed in his address was shared by the girls in uniform, as well as the girls in white dresses. We would Hke our graduates to know that we will never forget them and we hope that they will Be ever true to our dear Blue and Blue of T.C.S. Best of luck in the future. Bazaar As president of the S.F., I can personally say the bazaar this year was a great success. Of course, I ' m biased but I ' ve no doubt everyone will agree! This year we expanded the international table into separate pavilions! And the efforts of the girls involved was just great. Also we tried a Kissing Booth this year... What can I say, a kissing booth is just a kissing booth! We did cheat, though, by handing out chocolate kisses! The Whitby paper even caught a certain happy couple exchanging more than chocolate. (Not naming any names, Tracy!) I must say that on the big day I nearly died from panic, but as usual all my group came through in full force (and effort!) I don ' t know why I doubted them. I want to personally and publicly thank everyone, teacher and student, who participated this year. Without you, it couldn ' t have been a success. As you may have noticed, the S.F. title changed. Since I joined, I hoped it also indicates a change in pace for the group. I have enjoyed being president and have discovered that although it ' s a bit scary, at first, it ' s also loads of fun. I hope my replacement has as much fun as I did and an opportunity to make the friends that I did. Ayesha Khan President of S.F. Fashion Show ' 86 Once again, after many headaches and last minute alterations, th e Fashion Show finally came together. This year ' s theme was Fashion Through The Ages. We presented a variety of styles ranging from The Victorian era to the fifties and punk rock era. We were joined by a few male models escorting the ladies in their formal gowns. Lesley Forde Fulford Debate Debating has been, well, debatable, this year. There were many members in this year ' s debating society, and all participated, in one way or another. Our Fulford Tournament in November was a phenomenal success due to the hard work of the members and of our two coaches, Mr, Palmer and Mrs. Bagnall. Our own school teams did well this year, finishing 8th and 10th, respectively, at the junior and senior levels. Debates and debating workshops at other schools were successful, as were those at our own school. House debates, with Maxwell coming out on top, were interesting. All the best of luck to my successor, and good luck finding a tie for Mr. Palmer. Sarah Arulanandam Cross-Country Run The annual Cross-Country Run was a successful event this year, as in previous years. Eager runners waited anxiously at the front gates for the gun to be fired. As the shot was heard, the Trafalgar athletes dashed along the route of the course. The individual champions were: Stephanie Taylor, a senior Hare House competitor witlfi a time of 5:01; and the junior Maxwell House participant Wendy Primeau, with a time of 4:58. And we must not forget Mr. Cleary with his speedy time of 4:30. It was a great event! Ramona Grainge Semi Formal The Semi Formal this year was held on Nov. 29, 1986. As most people would agree, we all must say the dance was a very different experience. We invited Appelby College which was something new and enjoyable to some. Everyone was dressed so nicely, which was quite a change from our traditional uniforms. Even though the dance will not be remembered as one of the most successful ones, the prepar- ation was outstanding, thanks to Diane and Cheryl! Karen Pluthero Hi, everybody! The first in a series of fond memories. There are so many things to remember about that evening. There we were revelUng in our change from the school uniform, the students in their evening dresses looked like the sparkling lights on the Christmas tree. The evening began with the voices of the junior vocal group gracing the hall, and progressed to the delicious dinner and carol singing that made the evening so festive. We had such highlights as Judy Chu singing solo for us with her beautiful voice, Grace Ngai ' s talented fingers working magic on the piano, Spanish Christmas carols, Chinese Christmas carols, and the usual share of Mr. Kamcke ' s Christmas puns. The play directed by Mrs. Large provided a nice touch to the evening ' s entertain- ment, giving us a chance to think back to all the Christmas dinners we had shared with friends. This being the last Christmas for me at Trafal- ar, I can honestly say that though I don ' t celebrate the holiday, I ' ll always appreciate and remember the warm moments of laughter and friendship that coloured the occasion. Thanks to Mrs. Smith for her efforts and to everyone for participating in this star-sprinkled night. Ausma Khan Educational Experience Week Leaving aside our daily school schedule and classes, Trafalgar teachers and students all participated in the annual Educationsl Experience Week. This year, this special event started on 9th March 1987 till 1 1th March 1987. Our Educational Experience Week was sure a success. With lots of different choices, students were allowed to have a taste of their chosen career or to poUsh their skills. Some students earned their certificate in the First Aid Program and had really enjoyed the course. Others who had tripped and fell on the slopes of Hidden Valley, eventually could ski down the hill without any problems. Some students not only learned how to ride a horse, but also learned how to take care of horses. Trips to Washington and Quebec enabled the group to experience different cultures. Folk Art and Print Making improved the skills of those students that are talented in Art. The mysteries of the universe was being introduced to our students during a visit to the Science Centre in the Space Experience trip. To understand more about our society, the Scott Mission provided our students with better insight to some of the social problems. With the supervision of our teachers who had given so much time in planning for this event made this educational experience week both ' educational ' and ' enjoyable ' . Michele Ngai 23 More About Experience Week I I 24 The Sound of Music Presented on three nights this year, our play was well-attended and most successful. Leading roles were played by Heather Willis, Beverly Henson, Lesley Forde, Jill Wilson, Michele Lang, Ausma Khan and Ramona Grainge. Nearly half the students in the school were involved in this production, along with Mr. Kamcke, our director, Carey Church, our producer and Sarah Arulanandam, our prompter. We had Cynthia Li ' s beautiful sets illuminating our stage. Also, we had Wendy Ip and Michele Ngai as the pianists. Formal Our formal dance held this year, was culminating weeks of work by our Social Convenors, Dianne Cox and Cheryl Stuart. Guests were entertained at many parties, both before and after the main event, making it truly a night to remember. 28 Senior Dinner Friday evening, May 8th, 1987 TOASTS Toastmaster Mr. C.T. We started off with the annual staff vs students game and then was our final house debate. It was fun and hilarious. After lunch we headed off to the Ontario Place. Although the weather was not very good, all of us had enjoyed the day. For those who could still summon up energy, a Blue Jay game topped the night. Class Day June 7th, we celebrated the end of a most productive year and saluted the achievements of our houses in all of their competitive sports. This was also the graduates ' day, beginning with the Daisy Chain and ending in a chapel service and a tearful walk through Main Hall and up the main stair case... for the last time. Our Head Girl Anticipation as to what the future may hold, sadness for what we must leave behind - these are the feelings that stand out most vividly as my days at T.C.S. draw to a close. The old walls of this castle hold memories that will be with us forever. Many years from now when we reminisce about Trafalgar, it is the simple things that will come to mind, such as playing house games after school, going for walks around the heart or just sitting in the common room with friends. Trafalgar gives us a wide scope of activities to choose from, whether it be school drama, intellectual debating or varsity sports. The challenge of learning to understand and deal with other people is a unique experience in itself. Envils from various cultures, races and religions have all joined together under one roof. We learn to respect and accept each other despite our differences. T.C.S, provides us with the opportunities for inner growth and gives us a chance to prepare for the promising future that hes ahead. We only have to grasp these qualities and incorporate them into our own lives; for success comes to those who strive for it. To my fellow graduates, I would like to wish you all the best of luck as we go our separate ways. To those I am leaving behind at Trafalgar, I wish you good luck in the future, and remember to hold onto your dreams - no mountain is too high! Thank you everyone for a great year! I will miss you all! Love, Dora Arulanandam ' ' Make every yesterday, A dream of happiness. And every tomorrow, A vision of hope. (taken from the Sanskrit) BACK ROW (1-r): Mr. Kamcke, C.Y. Mak, M. She is a girl full of energy and could brighten a dull moment with her contagious laughter. She also possesses a friendly dispo- sition which enables her companions to be comfortable around her and not feel left out. She is very active in school especially in the aerobic classes with Mrs. Large and Miss Underbill. Her intelligence will enable her to enter the field of medicine and with that we wish her luck in her future endeavours. HILDA BLANCAS Miguel, Miguel are the favorite words of Hilda who comes from the border of Mexico. This is her fjfst and last year at T.C.S. and throughout the year, she enjoyed making friends from all over the world. This Mexican is loud and funny and she will never forget her favorite memories which were Montreal, Thursday ' s and her wallet, the Easter weekend Borryta , the late nights talking about life and womanhood and having the Dean chasing all the Mexicans from Main Hall because they are too loud. Best wishes to her future study in Texas. SUSAN BRUCE (Pudgie) FA-squishing noses, running. Head of A. A. FS-Deemie Pudge, Melba Toast, Puffy Aunt Jemima! Stuffy! Annie Baubaus, pudgie paws (ool oo!) JAYNEBURNESS Jayne will be sadly missed, but especially by the juniors who went to her more than often with their troubles, hopes and dreams. She was more to all of us, than a prefect, she was a friend. We will miss hearing and endulging in her extravagant social life. Lucy has definitely left her mark on both T.C.S. west and T.C.S. east. We are looking forward to seeing Jayne as a windsurfing instructor. MEDINA CARTER Medina Carter, honest and true, Her one speciality to argue. To make her point, she just can ' t wait. She ' d always be on time, ' cept she ' s always late. After hours Medina ' s down at the store, if she sees you coming, she ' ll lock the door. As a friend, Medina is first rate. I love you all, but I ' ll never be back. KATHERINE ARZENO The long but never fading saying: ' Still waters run deep ' , is the only honest way of describing this young lady, except of course for ' looks are deceiving ' ! Can usually be heard along the halls with her famous ' Dios Mio ' and a variety of other frustrated shouts. Arriving from Dominican Republic, Katherine has no doubt entertained everyone with a very memorable year. Whatever you do... wherever yougo... BueraSuerta, amigo! DIANE BROWN WENDY BRUCE (Cwok) Six years of her life has gone into Trafalgar and she will always be remembered for her caring contribution to T.C.S. ' s life both east and west. We will miss her smiling face, but especially her social reports from Trinity. However, she will always be remembered for her great participation at dances. How ' s that song go? Ebony and Ivory? Best of luck always Wendel, we will miss you, our favorite prefect. ANA CANTU During her whole year in Trafalgar, whe had the chance to meet a lot of people and learn very good English. One thing that she did not like is the cold in the winter, and she was really worried about her ears because her mom told her that if she touched them, they were going to fall off and she would be going back home hke a cup. Her favorite activ- ities are jogging, riding bikes, aerobics and drawing . The thing she enjoyed better about being a boarder was the precious time they gave her for study hall; she just loved it. Her favorite memories are from Montreal and Toronto. Her favorite saying: Spoil me, please!! and Thanks God . She will be going back to Mexico, and will start her university in advertising. I really had the best time her , she says. LISA CHAN Lisa is a sweet and beloved girl in T.C.S. Everyone cherishes the memory of being together with her. In particular, Rebecca, who is Lisa ' s roommate, could never forget that Lisa is the BEST and the wonderful time that they have spent together. Lisa ' s friendship will be treasured by everyone. Wish her all the best in being a teacher and she must not forget to tell her Dirty jokes to her students. Lastly, don ' t stay up too late for Biology, Lisa! 46 JUDYCHU Tumbling down the main hall staircase every day busily grabbing Binders and things (oopsi) - running madly along the hallway - (Late for class as usuallll) - That ' s Judy, with her fantastic singing voice and ever-so-lively facial expressions, practically sings and plays her way through Trafalgar life. Well known for her vitality and love for music, not excluding her last-second-making-up-things ability and incredible appetite. She is a most lovable creature. Her favorite pastime includes not doing homework in study hall, day dreaming in classes and falling asleep during calculus tests. (Get it, Paul?) VAN VAN CHUNG Yan Yan who is our Kansai girl in school is bright and enthusiastic. With her sense of humour, she brings laughter wherever she goes. To friends, she is undoubtedly benevolent (buying groceries for everyonel) Her popularity is incredible and she is especially famous for her messy room with pieces of Lego lying everywhere. To teachers, she appears extraordinary. Her academic work in a wave full of crests and troughs in which her marks are never in phase . Despite this, Yan Yan is intelligent. She is an efficient essays producer and fast-pace learner. One year ' s life in T.C.S., what a meaningful time for her. During her four years at T.C.S., she has become allergic to coconut, cottage cheese and yogurt, thanks to Beatrice and fruit bottom, she has recovered. Summer wedding bells sound sweet right now, but Ton ' s mom would Fix the one-eyed creature and use a black hair band to match the tux instead of bobbi pins. As we all know in the future Ton is planning on getting married three times. The first time for security $$$; the second time for protection $$$ and the final time for love; to a Rock a who? We will always remember Ton ' s exaggerated impersonations of Barbara Streisand, John Cretien and her continuing fascination of Brian Mulroney. You ' ll show the world one day we ' re sure. WENDY IP This is Wendy ' s second and last year in T.C.S., she is known to us as a very hard working student. When she is writing her notes, all her attention is on her pen and she uses all her might when whe writes. Also her head is only five inches from the binder! However, what we really love about her is all h er yummies she keeps in her room, especially when she comes back from Hong Kon. One tiny problem is that she is a girl of extremities. One minute she could be throwing temper tantrums, the other minute she could be smiling like a cat. So all we can say, Wendy, we love your smile, so keep snuling! AUSMA KHAN Known to her friends as Aussie and Ausmosis. She will always be remembered for her poems on adonis. As school ' s Literary Magazine Editor. The people at Oliyog were her constant creditors. Ausma Khan, Trafalgar ' s own literary great. Attended chapel, not once, for she always was late. Fact and discretion, would soon disappear. One day we hope to see her practicing veterinary medicine in Kenya. ZARINA KITCHELL Sakahina is known to us as a nice, happy, and cheerful girl. You can always hear her laughter miles away. When she smiles, she really looks like a sweet kitten. She loves eating junk food, especially chocolate-Oh! Her favorite TV show is Moonlighting , if you want to look for her on Tuesday nights-go to the common room! MAXINE LEUNG This is Maxine ' s first and last year in T.C.S. and it ' s been a great Canadian experience for her. She especially loves the snow covered campus. This Grade 13 Party Animal had a unique approach to the year. Mrs. K. would be happy to vouch for her sleeping habits, as they were mostly enforced in R F. A day never went by vrithout mention of dearl old Zlatko and lessons in Polish swearing. She certainly made the year more lively with her cheerful personality and engaging smile. PP-having to face this place everyday. CM-the mouse in Grade Nine dorm. Future-To be happy never have to study again. Farewell-Good luck and never be afraid to just be yourself. Thanks to my parents, now 1 appreciate it all. GRACE NGAI Her name is the essence of her personality. The most graceful she ever looked was in her white, billowy, formal gown, that was the talk of the school. Pink is one of her favorite colours. She always looks good in her extensive wardrobe and her hair has to be just rightl She ' s changed it many times since she ' s been here!! She works hard, striving to be an accountant. She is such an amazing pianist that the late great composers probably sit up and listen!! She is friendsly and a true friend, always eager to talk when you say hello . She is most likely to succeed, with such a sincere, good nature. We ' ll miss you! EMILY PANG This is the first and the last year Emily stays in the school. However, she adapts to the Canadian school life fairly quickly. She is dilignt, considerate, polite but easily panics (especially about her schoolwork). Her favorite topics are entering university and going back to Hong Kong! Moreover, she has an incredible self-control for ice-cream, chocolate and dessert. Thus, it makes many girls envy her when she loses more than ten pounds in the first three months here. Finally, we all wish her every success in her university. seema nundy Seema Nundy was known to us by many names - Teemie- Pudge, Seemox, Teem, Seema-Weema (Thanks Lesley!), Hypoglyseema and lately MITy mouse. She trained for MIT by setting a record for door-opening in Physics and doing embarrassing things in front of teachers. An academic star, a house captain, a debator and an actress - there ' s no end to her talents. We ' ll remember her spinelessness in getting a date for the grad. (You ' re welcome Teem), her spontaneous Nundynoodles and her penchant for dropping her calculator before R F tests. We were never on time all year, were we? Never to be forgotten: her lizard tongue and the seductive What ' s yer name? ' Love ya. Teem! SUSANA PANG Just like her pinkish, heart-shaped alarm clock , Susana is amiable, tenderhearted and conspicuous. Living under a well-sheltered environment, she is often very dependent. Hope she would not slip or trip on the snow again. Otherwise, her companion would for sure have a misfortune! Susana has tact in dealing with p eople, in her absence, gathering her less vitality. Being a delicately niutured girl, she would in full of music. Her pectiliar clarion voice is imprinted in everyone ' s mind. Eventually one would definitely hear this familiar voice again in a Chamber of Commerce. 49 ADRIANA PERNETZ Adriana, uhl That Venezualan with the cutest accent this side of the border. She ' s a veritable dynamo of energy and once she starts goin ' it ' s hard to keep up with herl And if she doesn ' t flatten you with her enthusiasm, then surely her Latin temper will get you! Of course underneath all that is the sweetest heart aroundl That ' s our Adri, a real sweetie always ready to do something for you if not with you. Without a doubt she ' s the necest person I know! heh! heh! KARLA PHILLIPS Well, what can one say about such an obscure individual? We will all never forget her infinite puns Dehu, Dehu, Dehu: as well as her many famous detailed stories and dreams that seemed to take up the good part of an hour. And regards to men, we have all seen our dear Kowie changed. In the future, we will see Karia running her very own nudist beach wearing nothing else but her infamous Jesus Sandals. Kowie, we love you the way you are ' cause you ' re great! Don ' t ever change! P.S. Where ' s Ton? . .. with Kow! LESLEY PERRY Farewell, farewell, Lesley; a typical Trafalgarite Yuppy, treat everyone in a gentihty, never beneath one ' s dignity. Fight for school; conquered destiny, seems inconspicuous, but none of the smarties; reddish nose and a small tunny, becomes her personal significance. Lesley and her dinky pastry, usually are the focus of the Algebra Party. She always put herself on a diet but never succeeded. Farewell, farewell, Lesley. Thanks for all the memories, be yourself as you used to be. WANDA PONS Words are not enough to describe the vibrant Wanda; alias Beauts . Beauts , a newcomer from the Dominican Republic, brough with her a great deal of fun and warmth to everyone around her and made life at T.C.S. easier for us all. One love, one heart, the famed words of Bob Marley will linger in our minds forever, for it reminds us of the story of the proposed engagement. - Right Wanda?? Good luck in all your future endeavours; and by the way, ' ' Between between anddrinkachairl! TRACY POWELL Tracy Powell, also fondly known by her bio. nickname Trachea , danced her way through five years of Trafalgar life. She was best known to everyone for planning dreamy weekends with Phil and performing romantic ballets at the bazaar. Her outlook on life was always a ' funky ' one and we ' ll never forget the terrific, terrible trio with Teem and me. We can never forget her May Queen walk and her Clarence imitations. Her reflection on Trafalgar? - it was a gas! SHERENE SAHIB DANUSIA ROBAZEWSKI Danusia came to T.C.S. in grade 10 ' 83. Since then, she had been an active member in the S.F., choir, skiing and part-tim in Olyog. She will be seeking her future in physiotherapy, and poetry or whatever destiny brings. FS- Hey you know what? Lookslike a bunch of Binguini to me. Hola mi papaya! FA-watching T.T.V. in her room, breaking all the rules, not getting caught, getting Brownie points. PP-Over reactive two-faced people, the way teachers have a tendency to have tests on the same day! Time is, was and what a time it was. A time of confidences. Long ago it must be, I have a photograph. Preserve your memories, they ' re all that ' s left me. - Simon Garfunkel PATRICIA SAUNDERS 50 The End The end of a fabulous but very hard school year is drawing closer as the days go by. With the last count, there was only something like two more months before the summer of ' 87 begins. To be quite frank, my first and last year at Trafalgar Castle School was a memorable experience. During the course of the year, I had the rare opportunity of getting to know people of all different nationalities, and races. At first, I thought it would be very difficult to ' fit in ' as one of the girls ' on the hall, but I soon had a different view after meeting some of the prefects and our headgirl. They all seemed so friendly. The other thing that took some time to get used to was the whole idea of boarding with someone else. That too, soon vanished as both my roommates and I get along great. The entire school environment is completely different from what I was used to at home. One of these differences, that I am very grateful for, is the freedom that we grade 13 ' s have. The fact is, not that I was ' let loose ' so to speak, but I can do a lot more things without supervision and learn for myself, and I have learned to spend my time wisely. Another of these differences which had me in awe at first was the vast number of social events which take place here. At home I was never one to go to dances or plays etc., but although I still do not enjoy dancing, the evenings are relaxing. The sports had me fascinated as I was never exposed to such a variety of athletics. While here I also learned to play some games that I was only able to hear about at home. The academic aspect of this school was also something to become accustomed to. The work was a bit difficult, as I had to make a sudden adjustment, from the British to the Canadian system. The teachers try their best, I know, and I have realized from all my other experiences, that the final effort and end product is made by no one but myself. There are a great many things that can be said about this institution, but the most important is that although I miss my friends from home, I still am fortunate to say that I have made friends from all over the world as well as I have, in some areas, seen the true faces of reality, which has helped in forming me into a more stable and a more secure individual. Natasha A. Abdool Grade 13 Trafalgar Castle School SUELAN SMITH Sudan was only here for one year but she will leave her mark forever. She is known to us as a walking computer. We ' re all justifiably proud of our May Queen. ANN STEEL NN-Bananie, Annie Baby, Jill, N-diggar FS-That ' s so funny! C ' est la vie! With her eyes half-closed and half-opened reaching out on her dresser for her toothbrush etc., nearly trips over one oxford beside her bed (who knows where the other one may be) - this is the way our yearbook editor starts one of her busy days. Having a special affection for the ever-so-popular pop singer Danny Chan, the evidence of her admiration can be traced even in her calculator and liquid paper. During her three-year stay in Trafalgar, she treasures many precious memories but the one and only nightmare that she has is the fish and chips lunch. JILL WILSON Jill will always be remembered for her high level of exuberance which reached monolithic proportions during her three-year stay at Trafalgar. IVIany a time you could walk past her Bread Box and hear loud songs like Billy Bragg or the Violent Femmes flowing out through the door, (or onto the patio lounging area!) Yes you can usually see Jill showing great amounts of frustration while asking Is it Pink Floyd, Neil Young or the Doors? We must not forget her love for Bono is better - at least he has hair! Janet admits that in T.C.S. she starts to change from intolerance and arrogance to modesty. She is always the most outstanding student at school who seems to represent diligence . But actually, she zilways piles up her homework until the very last minute. Janet is an animated girl especially when she wears her frilled nightgown and her idiotic glasses. Although she always plans to be on a diet, she never gives up the chances to eat pastry and Shanghai desserts. Come on, Ronald is waiting to see a slim girl!
