Homecoming Kathy Lund was crowned the 1957-58 Homecoming Queen by T-Club President Don Podhaj- sky. Her attendants were Dar- lene Latting and Suzanne Thom- as. The crowning took place dur- ing the half-time of the Traer- Grundy Center football game. A public dance was held after the game. T

Although the team was fast and scrappy a lack of height and a few bad breaks ruined chances for a better record. Several games were lost in the last few seconds of play. The team did fairly well in the County Tournament, finishing fourth by de- feating Toledo Juvenile Home and Garwin, then los- ing to Dysart in the semi-finals and to Dinsdale in the consolation finals. The Redhawks lost a first round game to Toledo in the Sectional Tournament. Several returning lettermen hope to make a more im- pressive record next season although a height prob- lem will again exist.
