Class Prophecy Kathy Lund will be stewardess for TWA. She will be traveling all over the world. Jim Ralls will be a famous detective at 221B Baker street in London, England. To keep his notes and papers in order will be Shirley Haraldsong without her help Jim would not be able to become as great a detective as Sherlock Holmes. Lona Hale will be a free-lance commercial artist. Her talents will be in great demand by the leading magazines throughout the world. Larry will be Lieutenant Baker of the Marine Corps. He will rise to this high position rapidly and will make the Corps his career. Gary Karr will be chief engineer on a large California aeronautical project. This has been his life- long ambition, and he will succeed. Some of the class will choose the teaching profession. Cherie Knoop will teach in the elementary grades in a Chicago school, while Richard Valenta will eventually become superintendent of all the schools in Chicago. Two of the boys will be farming in Iowa, but what farms! Don Podhajsky and Larry Nation will own two of the largest farms in the state and will experiment successfully with thoroughbred stock. Three of the girls, Ethel Ludvicek, Karen Tanner and Viola Kuhn, will become homemakers soon after graduation and will be very happy in their home and with their families. Suzanne Thomas will become famous for her social work. She will help many people and start them on a new road in life. Most of her work will be in New York City. A There will be one lawyer in the group. Gary Plogmann will be a prominent criminal prosecuting lawyer in Sacramento, Calif. Another secretary from the class will be Darlene Latting. She will be working for the persident of General Motors. She will be one of the highest-paid secretaries in the United States. Chris Detje will fulfill his lifelong ambition to be a pilot for TWA, flying planes from New York to Paris. Terry Edwards will own and direct a television show, while Don Martin will be an outstanding and famous comediang his star role as the Campus Cut-Up will make both noted entertainers. Patty Morgan will own a fashion shop in Washington, D. C. She will design many of the gowns worn by the prominent ladies of that city. She was always interested in fashions, so her dream will come true. At the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas will be found Sandra Meyers singing every night to entertain the guests. Elizabeth Freeman will be an instructor in mathematics at Iowa State Teachers college, impress- ing the importance of mathematics on her students. -DENNIS fMr. Prophetl 12
