'va K fn i ma. ll 4 .p v 1 - . 1 ,J Time passes quickly when there is activity, happiness, and pleasant friendships. So it has been with the Class of 1956. Four seemingly short years elapse and the typical college senior begins to reflect on scores of happy, thrilling, funny, embarrassing incidents which have been crowded between a strange, uncertain Freshman Week and an exciting, fun-packed June Week. It is these incidents and special occasions which the Senior Class has attempted to present to the college in this Tower Echoes of 1956. But we hope, however, that this yearbook will be more than a mere diary of college events. We would rather it be thought of as a symbol of a class whose honest efforts and goals were not only to draw from college resources but also to give in order to contribute in some small way to the State Teachers College at Towson. We would like to think, too, that the presence of the Class of 1956 at Towson has been an element which has contributed in growth in individuals and in the college community. It is necessary that this attitude-even though, perhaps, a bit egotistical-be true. If it is not, then we feel that our four years stay can not be justified. As graduates, we gratefully thank the college for the opportunities afforded us. We will not forget Towson, we hope Towson will not forget us.
