The organization numbers among its members many distinguished leaders in the field of education such as Dr. Harold Benjamin and Dr. l'Villiam Heard Kilpatrick. Some of the main activities carried on by the society are the sponsoring of famous educators at assemblies and attending National Convocations which are held at various locations throughout the country. Alpha Phi Umeqa Because of interest in previous scout organizations, members of the Alpha Phi Omega have joined together to offer additional services to the college. Under the di- rection and sponsorship of Dr. Marvin Volpel, the APO has assisted the Freshman Advisory Council in their varied activities. On several occasions this unique organization has shown films to the student body and extra-curricular clubs on campus.
