THE OPERETTA . . . is A Ifi usic al Fantasy love conquers all! Or, Skip (Prince Franz) wins Barb (Kafhie) and fhe 1964 operetta comes to a romantic conclusion to tlie approval of well- filled houses and admiring relatives and friends. Gary (Aladdin) and his good friends, the pixies, plot more and more confusion. Everywhere there is activity: in the music room, behind the stage, in the art room — all throughout TC. Even ordinarily quiet places come alive in the preparation of another operetta. The buzzing of the saw in the wings, the har- mony of the glee club on stage, the tension of the leads practicing, oh, anywhere — all this is part of the wonderful atmosphere which makes TC spirit and enthusiasm burst forth as each student willingly does his share to make another success. This year, under the capable direction of Mr. Spiros Karseras and Mr. Lester Wolf, TC presented an original score highlighting music from recent Broadway shows and former TC operettas. — B.D. 80
