Towson Catholic ' s Forensic Society is a mem- ber of the Baltimore Catholic Forensic League which hosts sixteen tournaments yearly — var- sity and jayvee, oratorical and debate. TC ' s speech enthusiasts also participate in tourna- ments held by George Washington U ; Arch- Forensic Club members thoughf their trophy would make a good prop for this picture. Standing are: Kathle Gregory, Carol Freeburger, Tom Wandlshin, Henry Fiorlnl, Dick Cramblitt, and Maurice Black- well. Seated are Cl ara Finnegan, Betsy Beck, Mary Vaeth, and Linda Verlcchlo. Kathie and JudI rep- resented TC at the National Tournament In Denver. mere ' s Extemporaneous Debate; Loyola ' s Tau Kappa Alpha ' s Original and Extemp Tourney; Maryland ' s Debate and Oratorical Contest; St. John University Debate Tournament. On Friday, February 21, members performed for TC parents, their invited guests. Judi Green President of the Forensic C ub Forensic Vice-President John Delaney, who has taken his junior year at TC via Bell Telephone ' s Executone, was able to stop in for a few minutes at the Press Mess Hop. Here, he chats with Cathy Freeburger, Linda Varicchio, and President Judi Green. Besides his duties as a Forensic Club offi- cer, John also contributed top debating skill to the club ' s season. 42 J

CSMC OfFlcers: Vice-President Anna Schneider, President Warren Stork- loff, and Secretary Donna Stephens are checking the CSMC bulletin board for news of TC ' s missions. i ® UNY Officers: Vice-President Judy Beck, President Clara Finnegan, Mar- garet Poffel, and Pat Durand are examining Sister St. Michael ' s Nativity scene. They are probably planning future UNY activities. JOSEPHENUM CLUB Officers: Vice-President Mary Smith, President Anna Schneider, and Secretary Donna Stevens are gathering material for the next Wednesday meeting of TC ' s vocation unit. Homemakers of the future, Mary Galsler, Valerie Green, and Charlene Sibley, will certainly know how to assemble an attractive and delicious meal if they follow Sister Alma ' s guidance.

Library Aides are important contributors of valu- able library service. Virginia Lyons, Margie Shade, Judy Beck, and President Stephen Dennis assist Sis- ter St. Michael to serve the school. The Art Club which met informally this year provided talent, posters, decorations for many school affairs. The UNY sponsored an assem- bly where Colonel Dunn, instructor in military science in the ROTC program at Loyola, ad- dressed the student body on the American posi- tion in Southeastern Asia. The Glee Club, which meets regularly on Tuesday mornings, more frequently during important seasons, pro- vided talent for the Brotherhood Assembly held at Calvert Hall on February 25. a pattern appears . . . understanding occurs Our ring is just beautiful, croons Gail Blake to Kathy Rice as other artists — Marilyn Cross, Peggy King, and Pat Murphy — admire their effective dec- oration for the Ring Day Assembly, on October 31. 43
