Kelbaugh was high scorer of the day with two touchdownsg Robinson, Stephens, Bankerd and Phelan each scor- ing oncf Phelan made his touchdown on a 63 yard interception. The Junior Owls swamped Mt. St. Joe in the second league game, October 19, 44-2 on the losers' field. Kelbaugh and Stephens each scored two touch- downs. Robinson, Barlow and Phelan each scored one touchdown. St. ,loe's only score came on a safety in the third quarter. Boys' Latin J. V- was routed by the score of 34-8 in the third league game played at Mt. Washingtoxi T.C. OPP. 38 18 44 2 3 l 8 49 0 32 8 26 8 l l- 18 on November 2. Towson Catholic had a 24-9 lead at half-time and outscored its opponents 10-8 in the second half. Kelbaugh scored two points on a safety. The game was highlighted by the defensive play of Schuh and Maher, also by the 75 yard run by Gene Diylenna. The final league game of the season between Mt. St. Joe and Towson Catholic on November 8 was a lopsided 49-6 contest. Arnold and Bankerd scored four touchdowns between themg and Wood, DiMenna. Kelbaugh and Stephens each with one touchdown. Mt. St. ,loe's only score came in the third quarter on a plunge by Bonnet. As a result of this game, Towson Catholic J. V. wound up its league cam- paign undefeated. BASKETB LL Capt. He has directed the basketball team in over 46 victories during his coaching career at the Hilltop- Besides coaching the two teams, he has helped the boys to develop a spirit of unselfishness and sportsmanship.
