S wp, 21419171 Mews., ,f. SISTER MARY LEONITA, AB. UNDER THE efficient guidance at Sister M. Leonita, we have wrestled with and conquered numerous problems in algebra, geometric theorems and trig functions. In addition to these scholastic achievements, and in lighter vein, we owe to Sister a special thank you for the enjoyable Senior-Junior Prom ot May l946. That night of nights, in formal attire, happy boys and girls tripped the light tan- tastic to Carl Hamilton's Orchestra. The gymnasium, transformed into Q fairy land ot rainbow hues, made our hearts leap up with lOY- SISTER MARY JULIUS M.A. -l-o YOU, Sister M. Julius, our Senior homeroom teacher, we offer our most sin- cere gratitude, not only for teaching us Re- ligion, Latin and French, but principally for instilling into our hearts a love for and ap- preciation ot beautiful music. Our high school days would have been dull without the pleasant interruptions of musicales, Christmas plays, and yearly operettas. We realize now that music hath charms to soothe and we shall never forget the imagnanimous part you played in our young lives to make us noble men and women. May Christ Who said, They that in- struct others unto justice shall shine as stars for all eternity, be your reward. fl wr, iQ A

Dear Sister Zacharia, We Seniors of 1947 would like June 1, 1947 to take advantage of this opportunity to express our profound appreciation of your generosity and kindness to us l When we first arrived at Towson Catholic, we felt strange and out-of-place. Your understanding and interest in our welfare helped us to fit into the routine of high school life, and made us feel we really belonged. As Sophomores, we became more confident, and conse- quently more liable to find ourselves in trouble. How- ever, you understood that it was only human to err, and in this respect we must have seemed extraordinarily human to you. when we found ourselves rightfully in the Junior room, we began to realize that our high school careers were half over. It then occurred to most of that without your continuous help, so well prepared for the remainder the road of education. Now, as the graduating class, past four yearsg and we are struck that your constant assistance when us for the first time, we would not have been of our journey along we look back upon the with the realization we were in need, and your encouragement when we were discouraged, have prepared us excellently for the future and for the world of to- FDOPPOW. In you we feel we have an understanding friend always. We beg God's blessing upon you forever. The Graduates of '47 g 9

SISTER JOSEEITA MARIA, AB. -I-wo YEARS ago we were under your guidance, peering into microscopes, which revealed to us so many of Cod's secrets. Since then you have capably instructed us in our commercial subjects, and endeavored to prepare us for suc- cessful business careers. Last, but not least, you have been our life saver, for when tired and fam- ished after a hard practice in the gym, you have graciously opened the doors of the cafeteria where we quenched our thirst and satisfied our appetites. For all this, we thank you. . '1QI29 ' X fy SISTER MARY CAMILLA, M.A. SISTER M. CAIMILLA, we take this oppor- tunity to welcome you to our beloved school. Since you are a recent member of our faculty, we never had the pleasure of having you as our teacher, but we do know that our younger school- mates have enjoyed your Religion, English, Biol- ogy and Art classes. , ydkzf KM' my' X 1 9-'ro 'N f - - '--Y X 1 1 -1- f ff ' E f - --cf ,Q .
