It is with a great deal of pleasure that we commend our students as the school year 1955-1956 draws to a close. Under rather adverse circumstances our student body has shown the qualities that form the basis of our solid American Democracy. As teachers we are hopeful that the lessons learned here in school --.lessons that often are incidental to textbook in- struction----will carry over to your life outside the school it- self. We urge you to enjoy your school and your school life, so that you may learn from your school activities as well as your textbooks, and so that you may more fully enjoy your post-school days. ' Fred W. Herlinger, Supervising Principal Secretaries : Twila Agens It is a pleasure to express our best wishes to the members of the class of '56. There,is one special achievement you have made which will live in the memories of those who have worked with you during your school years, and that is your record of fine sportsmanship. Truly, you have given meaning to the words of our song- - Losing or winning, Always aigrinningfi We are proud of you and wish each of you success and good fortune. Bertrand R.
