Kay - ry, X A ' 9 She's small and sedate, cute and proper, too, From this description, you should know whois who. , Kay has not been idle during her high school years. She N has earned four letters playing on the Girls' Varsity bas- ketball team. She was a member of the Dramatic, Tri-Hi-Y and Glee Clubs. Her offices have not been few, either. - When she was a Sophomore, she was secretary of her class. f During both her Junior and Senior years she was president. E'21i ' , She has also made a very able president for the Athletic Association. She was secretary and treasurer of the Com- mercial Club and when it came to selecting a business man- ager for the yearbook, we could not think of a better person than Kay. Mignon won four letters in Girls' Varsity basketball. Dur- ing her Freshman and Sophomore years she was the vice president of her class. In her Senior year she has been a member of both the Commercial and Dramatic Clubs. She had the part of the housekeeper in the Senior play. MARY ELLEN PEAVY Step after step the ladder ascended. And now she's at the top, for sle is our Valedictorian. When she was a Sophomore, she was the class president. During her Senior year she was vice president of the class, vice president of the Commercial Club, president of the Tri-Hi-Y, advertising manager of The Torchf' editor-in- chief of the yearbook, and a member of the Dramatic Club. She was the mother in the Senior play. LOUISE INGRAHAM . . . Bus Cheerfulness and good will make labor light. Louise has been a member of the Dramatic, Commercial, Tri-Hi-Y and Glee Clubs and played a guitar in the or- chestra. As for her offices, she was secretary of the class in her Sophomore and Junior years and treasurer in her Senior year. She also was an associate editor of the year- book. She was secretary of her class, student manager of the girls' basketball team, circulation manager of the yearbook, and a member of both the Tri-Hi-Y and Commercial Clubs. She was the newspaper woman in the Senior play. EVELYN CLARK . . . Ev If you don't aim high You will never hit high. She sang in the Glee Club her first three years in high school.
