Pagel-4 BLUGOLD ' QhhHHMhhhhMhhhhhhkhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhQKQQD619HHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Colass Cwill We, the Senior class of Steuben-Townville High School of Crawford county, state of Penn- sylvania, in this year of our Lord nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, establish and declare this to be our last will and testament. In order to secure a lasting remembrance of our most brilliant class, we give and be- queath the following: To the Juniors we leave our Senior dignity. To the Sophomores we leave our ability to study our lessons and to conduct an orderly classroom. To the Freshmen we leave our highclass ideas. To the faculty we leave our gratitude for their kind help in keeping us rowing, not drifting. Some of our classmates being well blessed with worldly possessions, bequeath the follow- ing to members of the under-classes who have not been so fortunate as they: Eloise Barr leaves her motherly affection for Braden Lake to Margaret Kingsley. Rex Holcomb leaves his well-beaten path to Titusville to Harland Corliss. To future class presidents, Katherine Band- ley leaves her ability to argue with Mr. Durfee. Irene Hanna willingly bequeaths her way with men to Frances Arnold. To anyone so inclined Genella Shorts leaves her rhythmical swing. Evelyn Clark leaves her formula on how to keep thin to Evelyn Markley. Doris Johnson leaves her ability to master French to all future French students. Margaret Squier leaves her membership to the Man-haters Club to Josephine Hellem. To anyone who needs them, Eva Mae Lee's sophisticated airs. Kenneth Jochum leaves his farming ability to Frank Woolstrum. To Hazel Fiske, Mabel Woolstrum's inabil- ity to grow tall. Janet Carpenter leaves her bashful ways to Louise Doerr. Louise Ingraham leaves her coquettish glances to anyone who can acquire the art. Dorothy Carpenter leaves a well-filled date- book to Edna Van Cise. Mary Ellen Peavy leaves her intellectual ability to Clinton McLaren. Cherry Johnson leaves all her discarded engagement rings to Gladys Mosher. Gertrude Ghering does not want to leave Bud to anyone and as for other worldly pos- sessions she has none. Grace Werling leaves her ability to cook to Lillian Smith. Vivian Culver leaves her stubborn ways to Rachal Mallinee. Mignon Abraham leaves her ambitious na- ture to anyone who wants it. To our fellow classmates we leave the priv- ileges we didn't get, the gum we couldn't chew, the lectures we got, the low grades we didn't want, the paper wads we couldn't throw, and the famous people they wouldn't let us be. All the rest of our property not herein disposed of we give and bequeath to Mr. Dur- fee, for his use and benefit, to be disposed of for the good of the coming, and as he may see fit. And of this, our last will and testament, we appoint Mr. Durfee sole executor. And in witness thereof we, the Senior class of nine- teen hundred and thirty-seven, set our hand and seal on this twenty-eighth day of May, ninete-en hundred and thirty-seven.
