This, of course, occurs on one of the few weekends that Lynn's time is not taken up with dates in schools or colleges all over the East. Lynn seldom works too hard and is often seen around the Senior Room madly cramming for one of Mr. Yule's French IV tests. Famous for many things, Lynn is especially noted for her smile and crim- son blush, brought on by accounts of her many escapades. She can always fascinate her friends with an exciting story of the lifeguards at Stone Harbor, or some of Tower Hill's alumni home on vacation. In spite of her attributes, she has what she terms her sore spots. Around the Senior Room she is teased about her jerky walk and her lopsided nose. Lynn will be the gain of the college of her choice and the loss of Tower Hill and of the Class of '60. 29

RICHARD ANSEL DOBBS ln ninth grade 6'Brother Richard joined the ranks as the class shekel keeper. ln that same year he put his art talents to work by designing our first highly successful class dance. Realizing that here was valuable ability, the Class of '60 kept Dick on the decoration end of its tenth grade dance, the Junior Cyp and the extravagant Junior Prom. As a Junior Achiever in eleventh grade, Dick could be found in the hall cornering one of his many friends for a sales pitch on the nylon teddy bear his ,lalon Company was selling. His business abilities also made him one of the most adroit ad-men during the early months of the E11ergreen's existence. Dick is also known for his ability to get the best performance from anything from a station wagon to a motor scooter, yet, at the same time, to keep repair bills fairly low. This activity has brought him many lasting friend- ships with motorcycle dealers and drag racing fans. As the boy with the most infectious smile and the most innocent who me expression, Dick has often averted any serious faculty action when a par- ticularly riotous hack has been quelled by his look of complete wonder and a well timed quip. 28

HELEN LOUISE JOHNSON Amidst the chaotic confusion of the Senior Room, there is always at least one level-headed'person, Helen Johnson. Through an amazing talent of hers, Henny manages to keep her head when everyone else is losing his. Her inherent sense of judgment and tact has made many a difficult situation turn out all right. Henny's common sense does not prevent her from entering into the games and antics of the Senior Room. She excels in such worth- while activities as tweaking and tickling. She also plays a shrewd game of battleship and might even be considered one ofthe class champions. Henny carries her cunning with her onto the hockey field, where more than one unsuspecting opponent has received a surreptitious whack on the shin. As captain this year, her drive and vigor held the team together on more than one occasion. As a center-halfback of only one season's practice, she distinguished herself by scoring a goal. In addition to school activities, Henny spends much time at- tending dog shows to display her prodigy, Kimmy. Frequently she goes bowling and regularly scores well above one hundred. Tact, originality, common sense, and a sense of humor, all are combined in her unique and exciting personality. We wish her all the best of luck in college and in her later life. 30
