Toru Hosoda There are no words in either the English or I apanese language to express fully my thanks to the students and faculty of Towanda Valley High School for the friendships you have shown me, your foreign exchange student from Japan. I have had the most wonderful experience in my life here in Towanda. Nothing can take the place of the experience. The people who have shared these good times will be unforgettable. The memory of what I have seen, heard, thought, and learned will remain ever in my mind, even the most insignificant things. Towanda has become my home, as the people have become my true friends. I feel as though part of my heart will be left behind when I think of going back to Japan. We are always friends wherever we live, and we have the same desire for peace. My hope is that we continue to live hand in hand, understanding each other.
