1974 TOLO We Believe Music Toulon High School Toulon, Illinois WE BELIEVE IN MUSIC We can sit around making music all day long . . . As long as we are making our music ain't going to do nobody no harm . . . And you know baby, we know under the sun where there's people wantin' to stop all their fussin’ and fightin' long enough to sing along . . . You can see love in the loveliest people, if you know what I mean. People who believe in music are the happiest people we've ever seen. So clap your hands and stomp your feet, and shake your tambourine, and lift your voices to the skies, tell me what you see. Music is the universal language and love is the key, with peace, hope, and understanding and living in harmony. So grab your brother by the hand and sing along with us and raise your voice to the sky, tell me what you see. We believe in music, ohh, we believe in love. We believe in music, ohh, we believe in love. 2 The 1974 Tolo Qtaff Would Like To Dedicate This Yearbook To— Mr. Marvin Mason Contents Administration And Faculty 5 Student Life 23 Athletics 51 Organizations 65 Classes 85 ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY Sunshine On My Shoulders Ag Department Mr. Charles Pearson This is big! Each day of Homecoming Week was a special day-- Greaser Day, Crazy Hat Day, Leg Day. Thursday night, while the floats were being judged, the student body gathered for a snake dance through the streets of Toulon getting the town fired up for the big game against the Manlius Red Devils. Everyone then met at the east end of the football field for the bonfire to roast the Red Devils. Friday's activities included the pep assembly, parade, and a 32-22 victory over Manlius. The week concluded on Saturday night with the annual Homecoming Dance. Nobody here but us chickens!
