audience of couise had no vxax of knowing hoxx manx hours Deluho l1ad spent in practice on the unsuspecting chorus Then Sis Boots and Ch ssie broke from the ranks of their tomiades went ll'lt0 a huddle and commenced to chant in loud and 1n slstent voices We Want a hot dog' We want a hot dog' Since that seemed the easle t way out of it three hot dogs were produced the ioise immediately ceased and the girls trotted back to the ranks smll ing complacentlv Suddenly Mr Eastman appeared from the wlngs in knickers and a lJI'lgl'1t sweater This was the slgnal to lower the back drop with the Orlental scene Characters made quaint by clex er use of cosmetlcs filed onto the stage 1n costume and delighted the audience with their rendi tion of the Mikado Since the famous dav in October when lt xxas announced that just to be different there vxeie no Seniors on the A Hono1 Roll the Seniors had done ex erythlng possible to keep the d1st1nct1on of being dlfferent '-o the Seniors rolled onto the stage with their roller skates and gave an exh1b1t1on whlch left the towrsfolk a little breathless and a httle hocked at their lack of decorum The Seniors howey er seemed to en loy being different ed by Helen Fritch Mildred Sohl and others They were laugh1ng with dcllght as Dot exclaimed ox er the blrthdav bundle with which a few 'fhoughful teachers had remembered the gala day Th1S valuable pack age contained 1 safety pm 2 rubber bands 1 pencil Sharpener and 1 hoe hook The final novelty of the first scene in ACT IV was lively ballotlng to choose the one with the gicatest d1st1nct1on among the Seniors John tathcait ran high for his contortions and motions while sleeping 1n study Hall but amld the cheers of both chorus and audience this honor xxas finally bestowed on Walter Storrs for his d mples SCENE II of ACT IV is the same is SCFNIF II of ACT III The Aimory the scene of the Prom was decorated ln blue and gold the class colors and looked ex en more lovely than before if possible Beau tifullv gowxned girls swayed gracefu lv on the arms of gallant young men while the orchestra plaxed the latest dance numbeis The skill fal dancing was due no doubt to thc pleasurable practlce secured at tne Senior Dances glxen in the Gvm Then softly at first and 11101 easing in xolume came the theme song the theme song of ex ery real play Im in Loxe with You Honey The l-101 . 4 ' , . y .l t, 4' , b, ' ll ' Y? if ,!! ll ' ' 7!
