Shannon Webb, Scott Wilkes, Coach Craig OQQIUS , 1 A caching freshman football is a tremendous job considering that most of the athletes participating on the team are brand new players who L L have never been exposed to the numerous concepts of football and the tteam aspect of play. Coach Craig Scoggins took things one , . step at a time and introduced four basic goals to his team. f Basically, the goals we have set up for the team are to leam the he T fundamentals, to help them feel good about themselves by building self-esteem, to give one-hundred percent, and to have a good time while they're out there, said Scoggins. 'These are the four things we like. Coming together as a team was the biggest problem for the group. Thirty-four people had to become one, and it took awhile for them to leam this aspect. Without much experience they didnt know how to go at it. But the kids never give up, commented Scoggins. Whey give one-hundred percent and that's all anyone can ask. We have a really good group of outstanding athletes. - Lora Stowe
