Since 1965, the ROCKETTQY AND ASTIPONOMY CL UB has had it 's share of rocke ters, astronomers and pyrotechnicians under the supervision of O.B. Karge. I 41 The trip to Borrego Springs wouldn 't be complete without a stop at Dud- le y's Bakery where the club stocks up on provi- sions for the three days. World CulTure The Flying Fish Club is a new organizafion on campus This year, and was organized for The purpose of building pride in our school. Three hundred sTudenTs paid 84.00 dues, and The money was used To purchase Trees and flow- ers which were planTed on The campus. The club sponsored The Flying Fish conTesT, which was won by Jon Kellogg wiTh a jump of six inches. The club also sponsored The Au- Tumn Fesfival and The Peace Garden dedica- Tion. During The Aufumn FesTival abouT 800 sTudenTs, parenfs, faculTy and sTaff planTed 35 Trees and over S4000 worTh of flowers. Three clubs uniTed To planT a Peace Garden. All areas of The campus were cleaned, and as a resulT The sTudenTs now Take more pride in The campus.
