However, a true evaluation of our training year at the T. T. C. For many of us, new lights have been lit, new fires kindled, and our inspiration to action guided and cultivated by an active, interested, and involved staff. But we have only begun. Our period at the college has been one of triumphs and trials, inspiration and frustration, contentment and bewilderment - Human attributes. Let us, as we carry the torch of learning to the young of our great country, remember this human aspect. Children are people. Let us treat them with all the respect and understanding they deserve as people. Let us remember that the future of Canada, and perhaps, the world, will be strongly rooted in our attitudes towards them, our treatment of them, and our willingness to work with them to walk out of the jungles of ignorance and egocentricity towards the shining palaces of truth. And finally, let us adopt the attitude illustrated for us by the late John F. Kennedy when he said, 'We shall . . . do our part to build a world of peace, where the weak are safe and the strong are just. We are not helpless before that task or helpless of its success. Obi: S.
