Both Olga and Ole enjoyed the softball games but Olga embarrassed Ole many times by her remarks. At the first game the scorekeeper invited the visitors to sit with her and help keep the score. Ole reported, HVinton caught a flyln HNay! Nayln shouted Olga, Whe caught a ballln To keep the visitors from arguing there- after, Coach Reeves let Ole be the bat boy. In the back row, left to right, are Coach Reeves, Vinton Bruflat, Duane Vik, David Nelson, Ronald Hanna, and Stanley Westley. In the center row are Richard Bjerke, Neil Ohman, Lyle Squires, David Mathison, Jmnes Jeglum, and Percy Konold. In the front row are: Arnold Lovre, Howard Horner, Alton Nelson, Eugene Anderson, Lester Lunden, and Gordon Bergjord. nYiminy, but Yimmy can svat 'emu and nBimmy can hol' 'emu became Ole's pet expressions. Ole got the thrill of a lifetime when Coach Reeves let him anne out and prac- tice basketball a few times with the HBH team. He was too small to make the team but he did learn to bring the ball down the floor and put it through the net. Standing in the back row are Coach Reeves, Glm1Hanna, James Pletcher, Howard Horner, Lester Lunden, and Gordon Bergjord. The starting line-up seated in front consists of Percy Konold, David Mathison, Ronald Hanna, David Nelson, and Stanley Westley. Ole was given the l949-SO ball to take back to Nyborg. 15
