TORONTO HIGH SCHOOL BAND In the fall of 1926 the Toronto High School Band was organized through the efforts of enthusiastic citizens leaders and students From those twenty seven members the band has steadily grown to its present enrollment of seventy From an after school activity it has become a regular accredited class in T H S in Each year the band has been a colorful addition to all football games This year through the efforts of the Band Mothers it spent a week at camp training for public appearances and has won praise for its marching and formations It has taken part in all civic parades and has given two concerts Mr Hoover is completing his twentieth vear as director The Band Council is made up of members chosen to manage band affairs BAND COUNCIL Page 38 which a student may develop his musical ability. i I I

TORONTO HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR For the past two years the Boys' and the Girls' Glee Clubs have combined to form the High School Choir. which sings for many special occasions, such as Vesper Services and Commencement.
