VARSITY T CLUB Boys who have won the varsity letter may become members of the Varsity T Club, an organizaiton begun in 1946 to foster good fellowship among athletes. The Advisers are Mr. Zimmerman, head football coach, and Mr. Kunzler, head basketball coach. THE DELPHIAN CHAPTER OF J. C. L. The Delphian Chapter of the junior Classical League was organized in 1932 by Mrs. Buck. Its creed reads: I, a member of the junior Classical League, covenant to hand on the torch of classical civilization in the modern world. I believe an acquaintance with the civilization of Greece and Rome will help me understand and appreciate this world of today which is indebted to ancient civili- zation for its government, laws, literature, languages, and arts. SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP TEAM Twenty-four seniors took the state scholarship tests on Feb. 5 and made an excellent record for the school. Verne McConnell tied for first place in the county. Bob Kelley took eighth place. Eight-jean Littlecott. Leonard Black. Dorothy Hardy, klohn Zamborsky, Larry Herdman. -Ioan Paisley. Vfalter Wheeler. and Harry Stephens-received honorable mention.
