THE DELPHIAN CHAPTER OF J. C. L. The Delphian Chapter of the junior Classical League was organized in 1932 by Mrs. Buck. Its creed reads: I, a member of the junior Classical League, covenant to hand on the torch of classical civilization in the modern world. I believe an acquaintance with the civilization of Greece and Rome will help me understand and appreciate this world of today which is indebted to ancient civili- zation for its government, laws, literature, languages, and arts. VARSITY T CLUB Boys who have won the varsity letter may become members of the Varsity T Club, an organizaiton begun in 1946 to foster good fellowship among athletes. The Advisers are Mr. Zimmerman, head football coach, and Mr. Kunzler, head basketball coach.
