Since Topsail hasn't had a newspa- per in three years, it was theirjob, along with new teacher Leslie Sands, to re- awalsen this ancient art. After getting a late start, they diligently began their quest, working in their spare time since there was no class set up for newspaper. The Beacon would become the brand new name for the paper, and the staff prepared to publish two spring issues. We lools forward to many future is- sues of The Beacon.
