SPRING FEVER MARCH, Top-Hi basket ball team completed one of the most successful seasons ever, ending up in the state tournament. Immediately following was turn- out for spring sports. Cathy Tollefson was crowned lr. Miss to reign over 78. Demolay held their yearly sweetheart ball at the Mt. Adams ymnasium. APRIL, During spring vacation the Spanisi club took a lon awaited trip to Mexico. Soon after auditions for tEe Maximum Blues were held. Later in the month the Lettermans club sponsored a rib-tickling donkey basketball game. Seniors Don Sandburg and Renee Hiet were crowned King' and Queen of T sastt the lr. Sr. Prom, which featured t e vocal group Faze. kr., Q... PN , , sf MAY, Starting off the month of May was the Air Force band. Then the cheerleading tryouts were held to de- termine next years Rally Squad. After many hours of practice the Drama club performed a play Paint the town Pink . Then the very successful and talented Maxi- mum Blues went to Gresham Oregon for annual compe- tition. Girls and Boys district tennis went well as Bill Cor- dero and Andy Affholter placed first, and Doris Morrison placed second. The golfers were proud as they shanked through to 2nd place in state, with a district champion- ship. And after raising enough money, Bank members took a very enjoyable trip to Canada. Ending the school year was Baccalaureate and Graduation Commencement which was held in the A.l. Strom gymnasium. SPRING CALENDAR 30 .g . A -Q., K.
