These girls proved their loyalty to the cause . by showing up for early 7:30 A.M. practices and evening 7:30 P.M. practices faithfully. TENSION-Lettermen Jim Sevigny and Guy Hoon discuss the shot while Rudy Leon, Vernon Lacell, Ricky Bowles, and Bob Walker look on intently. On August 31, 1971, the first meeting of the year for the group in Pep Club came to pass. Luncheons followed in the girls locker room, where several items of importance were discussed -plans for building spirit at Top-Hi and ways to earn money. Pep Club contributed to the 71-72 year by promoting spirit at assemblies and games. and making signs to put in the hall. With Homecoming preparations and rooters buses to get underway, the Pep Club fought on to keep Top-Hi's spirit at its peak during the cold fall and winter months. Soon the new members came to play a big role in Pep Club, relieving the old members of their regular game chores, such as ticket-taking. This gave the Senior girls a chance to enjoy themselves and give the spirit at Top-Hi a boost for the better before their career in Pep Club ended. Talon Club members parked cars for all the home games, both football and basketball. The club aided by advisor. Mr. Blake Lott, helped Top-Hi get into the Christmas spirit by putting a Christmas tree atop the gym. The club also sponsored a thrilling pie eating contest again this year. The Lettermen's Club had a busy season this year, being paddleboys for all the home football and basketball games and raising the flag as part of the pre-game activities. Their only fund-raising activity was the Donkey basketball game held on January 31. Once again the game proved both exciting and hilarious with the Zillah Lettermen vs. Top-Hi FHA and the Top- Hi lettermen vs. Zillah FHA. The Top-Hi Lettermen were defeated in the championship game by Zillah,
