SUPERlNTENDENT'S MESSAGE 65089 SPEND YOURSELVES WISELY Even though the war has caused many limitations on the things we can do there is still rich opportunity for all who are willing to spend themselves in attaining high objectives. Your superintendent has watched with interest in the field of sports when young men spend their last ounce of physical energy in order to make the team of defeat the opponent, for the assured result is stronger men with more courage and self con' fidence, men with renewed and superior energy. Likewise the onlooker sees young men and young women with a purpose apply their mental energies to the point of fatigue in order to attain some worth while objective and the result is again just as sure to be increased power. There is this difference, however, physical attainment is limited--possible mental attainment seems almost unlimited. Spend yourselves wisely and without stint. The reward is definite and sure. E V. B. Armstrong. PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE GEOSS Your Tohiscan represents hours of work and planning on the part of the staff. These hours are well spent because as the years go by you will cherish it more and more for the memories it recallsg for those friends of high school that you have not seen for years, possibly since graduation. Keep it and treasure it. Joseph Temby.
