Dean of Boys Registrar Switchboard Attendance Secretary Guidance Secretary Office Manager Ojjice Personnel Demands of All Types Keeps Workers on Toes OFTEN TAKEN for granted, Troy's efficient office staff kept pace with the ever-demanding needs of 2200 students and put into operation the wishes and directives of the administrators. Duties varied from cataloguing and renting books to ordering food sup- plies, typing bulletins, putting through long distance calls, and answering mail. Mindful of the Welfare of both student body and faculty, Nurse Boon and her corps of proctors kept records, gave tests, and promoted health standards as well as tended to emergency physical needs. A portion of the staff remained on duty twelve months of the year and continued Work on enroll- ment, financing, and scheduling from june to Sep- tember. Thus, the thousand-and-one details of clos- ing one year and opening another gave round-the- calendar duties to the front office personnel. A SENIOR'S best friend. Preparing, filing, and mailing transcripts is the time-consuming job of Registrar Hoad.
