Mr., Mrs., or Miss, Their Aim We Is To Help Our Youth Mature BEHIND THE seemingly endless hours of class and home work lies the guiding influ- ence in our lives-our faculty. WV ith never-tiring efforts they have led us through happy, profit- able years in the Halls of Troy. Helping us as teachers, club sponsors, and administrators, they have become our friends and have eased us over many difficult decisions. We welcomed thirteen new faculty members to the Trojan family last fall, five in newly created positions. All have spent much time on profes- sional training and in conferences, learning new educational trends and emphases. Through departmental programs and study, and through their social groups-The Guild, Majority Club, and Men's Club-they have become closely asso- ciated with each other. This relationship is being broadened to include plans for coordination after Highland Park's annexation and when Topeka High XfVest is opened in the fall of 1961. Topeka High's faculty has an unusually high percentage of teachers with advanced degrees, and all are interested in church, family, and community activities. Aliis Exemplumn on Troy's new motto is aptly written for these, our friends- An Exam' ple for Others. 1 a . K ,il 24 , i xt X Q... 8' , A ff L 5 1 f it ' ' ,.
