They earnestly pledged their time and their interest to our prob- lems and goals. NVe were inspired by their strong leadership and uplifted by their sincere friendship. May they know that this service and inspiration will always be remembered and appreciated. The many complications of enrollment were capably solved by Mr. Henson, Director of Curricu- lum. Through personal conferences he endeavored to help students plan their schedules. Mr. Meyers, Guidance Counselor, coped with grave responsi- bilities as he advised many students on their indi- vidual problems, set up tests, and kept records. 10 5' li. B. WEAVER, Prinrijml :favs . fl in ,onus ....- is The newly created position of Scholarship Chair- man was filled this year by Miss Pringle, who resigned her former duties as Dean of Girls to accept this responsibility. Serving as the new Dean of Girls was Miss Aley, former social studies teacher at Troy. She had the added responsibility of co- sponsoring the girls' pep clubs and cheerleaders. Mr. Bodenhausen, Dean of Boys, counseled and handled disciplinary problems for boys. He also doubled as head football coach but recently re- signed to devote full time to counseling. 'I'hrough the administrations untiring efforts and kind guidance, under the capable supervision ol' Mr. N'Veaver, Topeka High has again claimed superior rank in national standards.

MEMBERS CHECK OVER a scale model of Topeka W'est just before a regular Board meeting. Seated: Mr. Sehendel, Mr. Rausch, and Dr. Summers. Standing: Mr. Payne, Mr. Yvertz. and Mr. Browning, newest member. 3 ALL GOD'S CHILDREN-but particularly All To- peka's Children-are Mr. Godwin's chief concern in these days of growing needs for educational facilities.

'Sl BACK TO SCHOOL night gave many parents an opportunity to talk to the Guidance Coun- sellor, Mr. Meyers, as well as with teachers.
