HERE IS THE RECORD of another year-a wonderful year for twenty-two hundred and fifty Trojans and their teachers-a particularly thrilling year for the more than six htindred graduates. 1958-59 has been a year of vast strides in science and industry, of great determi- nation to strike the keynotes of world peace. For youth, it has been one in which educational progress has been studied and new methods put into practice. 1958-59 has been a year in which much has been attempted and much accomplished, but everywhere there is evidence that special training, education, and adherence to basic purposes will be a challenge to young men and women. NVhether our graduates go into technical fields, become profes- sionals or diplomats, or follow their own personal star, it is their hope and that of their teachers and administrators that in this year they have recognized the meaning of l Trojans Today - Leaders Tomorrow

OF THE NEARLY one hundred entries in the Trojan Seal Contest sponsored by Quill and Scroll, these six girls were declared the winners. They met the challenge to produce phrases to typify Topeka High School's purpose and idealism, and de- signs that would symbolize beauty and dignity.
