An efficient office force performed varied tasks that kept Troy running smoothly during the year. Friendly and helpful, Mrs. Naomi Woodburn, secretary to Mr. Weaver, carried out various duties. Mrs. Marilyn Pil- cher, served as secretary in the guidance office, where she worked closely with the administration. Faithfully performing her duties as attendance clerk was Miss Erna Sibberson who took care of daily records. The telephone voice that was identified with Topeka High was that of Mrs. Jane Barton, switchboard operator. Anita Stinar, as registrar, did secretarial work for Mr. Henson. She was in charge of keeping a record of the credits of all the students and sending students' transcripts to colleges and other places were they might be requested. Mrs. Kay Fieger, the bookkeeper, handled all of the money and banking. Another one of her tasks was the seemingly endless iob of putting out the daily bulletin. Ever ready to help ailing Trojans was Mrs. Fern Taylor, Topeka High's registered nurse. The efficient cafeteria workers were headed by Miss Eunice Young- quist. Helping her with the business end of the cafe- teria was her secretary, Mrs. Lillian Ash. Mr. Walter Russell, director of the night school, worked diligently to plan and direct the evening courses. His secretary was Miss Joyce Mentzler.
