I gs, omni lil S -Q Q1 , X X If The Santa Fe General Offices l M X X f, f? f , Z, One of the most important factors in the growth of Topeka, the Santa X Fe General Offices are typical of progress. .Since 1872, when the First small X office two stories high, was built, three buildings have been erected. The X First unit of the present structure was finished in 1910 and the second in 1924. The growth of the Santa Fe has meant much, not only to Kansas but to Topeka High School students, to hundreds of whom it has afforded an im- mediate entry into business. i XX A X SFX XX QR-XfiXXXY,. From within its doors has come the spirit of progress which is instilled into the heart of every Kansan. . X When the seniors of the high school planned the 1927 Sunflower, as a rec- ord of one year in the history of the school, the staff kept in mind the growth and progress in this, our city of Topeka, the capital of the state.
