The children's dormitory was for a time shared by the old people. Now, there are not only sparate buildings for each, but a school, the hos- pital, andi heaging plfmt. A fine farm is maintained, besides landscaped grounds otte with akes. The farm occupies 404 acres, 262 of which were given by the city of Topeka. The First residents were received June 1, 1919.
