enior Kfcm Adforg Remember the day we enrolled at Tony High School as Freshies ? Boy, were we scared! And according to traditionf we were properly initiated. That was the day! We also gave the Sophomores a return party. That year Walter Albrecht and Lawrence Beres transferred from Glen Flora andMarilyn Adkins moved to Ladysmith, giving us a total of 54 Freshies. We started our Sophomore year with 44 students enrolled and Raymond Kudingo later transferred from Ladysmith, We initiated the Freshmen, those poor kids! They gave us a return party. We were also proud to have Mary Anne Moffit representing us in Forensics at Eau Claire. When we started our Junior year, there were 47 enrolledg Mary Kopacz transferred from Our Lady of Sorrows High School and Roger Miller from Hannibal High School. Lawrence Beres as well as William Brockner left school. Our Junior class play, One Wild Night, was given on December 3, and was a great success. Our Junior Prom was held April 2.5, 1953. The theme was Roses In The Rain, King Bob Vaughn and Queen Annette Smrstick reigned over the prom. The Rainbow Nightingales was the orchestra which we chose. Mary Anne Moffit, Henry Elzinga, Dick Dennis, and Harry Elzinga represented us at the Eau Claire Forensic contest. Further honor came to our class when Harry Elzinga and Patsy Sharrah went to Madison with a piano duet and received an A rating. On August 31, we came back for our Senior year at good old Tony High. Eugene Nelson dropped out and Lawrence Beres rejoined us with Carole Lauer transferring from Hannibal High School. LeRoy Schneidewent returned and Danny Soviak trans- ferred from Chicago giving us a graduating class of 47. One of the high lights of the year was our Sneak Day, We went to Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls. Mr. Laufenberg went with us and everyone surely enjoyed the day. The valedictorian of our class was Harry Elzinga and the salutatorian was Patsy Baccalaureate services were held May 16, 1954, Ccrnmencement exercises were held on May 20, 1954.
