While searching for words to say all this, we stumbled over this poem, which, we think, says more in its verses than we could in several pages. Think as you read these lines, this means our Future too! The earth is wary of our foolish wars Her hills and shores were shaped for lovely things Yet all our years are spent in brckerings Beneath the astonished stars April by April laden with beauty comes Autumn by Autumn turns our toil to gain But hand at sword hilt still we start again To catch the beat of drums Knowledge to knowledge adding skill to skill We strive for others good as for our own And then hke cavemen snarling with a bone We turn and rend and k1l1 With life so fair and all too short a lease upon our special star' Nay love and trust Not blood and thunder shall redeem our dust LET US HAVE PEACE Nancy Byrd Turner 1 AJ 'pl t fu-v 75-'N gffiu- 1 5,3 ,dfsfs 1,5-edf-Q u ' ' . The importance of this book has little meaning to you now, but in the future you will realize how it recorded various activities of yOu! school, memorialized individual accomplishments, and treasured for you, your school life, Through all of these school accomplishments there should be a goal of your future, If you continue to climb in life you will be repaying 3 debt to your school, community, and advisors, It was through all of these you had the chance to gain your place in life, and accomplish- ments, If you strive to serve in this place with contributions to a growth ofa greater community, state and nation, you will certainly have some- thing to look back on, something not only recorded in a book, but in your heart and mind. For this feat he could go down in history. Shirley Slater I find has gone into the one and only field, that of raising her six kids and taking care of her husband Bob. Right now they are in France, and she has decided to buy the Eiffel Tower. No one knows quite why she did this, but then women are strange, While roaming around I found that Larry Hough has become President of the United States. I found that he won the country over by his slogan, All for one and that one me, Mary Martinez I find has taken to speed racing and just won the Indianapolis Speed Race. Mary was so small in stature this profession was just perfect for her. With Mary I found Florence Dyer who is her private secretary. There's only one worry in her mind and that is will she ever able to translate all of this after it gets cold? In Los Angeles I saw a huge sign, McNeill will customize your Wheel. It was Johnny McNeill and he has revolutionized the car industry, by installing TV, and a re- mote control gadget that enables one to watch his favorite program, Also in Los Angeles l found Gardenia Weeks, here she is operating a clinic, The Week's Clinic. She has become a great psychiatrist. Her clinic deals only with the weak minded, maybe everyone is that way, because the clinic is well filled. Terry Terras, has become a great mining engineer, after he discovered a great body of Titanium in Ashtabula, and now he shares the profits with the Government, At last l found Alice Harris, I looked a long time, but found her settled on a ranch with all her children and Dan. In her spare time she is writing a book. How to Graduate in Three easy Years. Well that gives you a brief resume of our graduates. So I'l.l adjust my halo and return to the better half, See you all sometime no doubt.
