There is not one member that has not contributed his part to the competition of attaining this goalg but there is one member who, after helping build the stairway to this goal, did not get to participate in the championship fight. JOHN BOMBASSE1, a senior who played the full year until tournament time, had to miss the games that really counted because of illness. But that made John no less a champion than those who played the actual game, He helped to make a championship possible with his playing in all the other games. Last but not least Coach George Soule deserves extended credit for the marvelous coaching which he showed by all the games played this year. To the Champions CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE 1954 NUGGETT STAFF, . . . : X9 h We Dedzml HUITIIHISTHHTIUH uperznimdmf 5 Message' Xlthouuh your ymrboolx lS small rn size rt rs 1 wry rruportrru hook hrcausr ll rrcords for you Ihr V1l'lOU5dLUVH1LSOIFXOUY school ix u more xruporlrut lb thc, rgoord of 1IlL.i1V1klllll rcgoruplrslrruurrs than thmfrs possrhle throuvh thc schools wh1ch they provrdr for you Your debt to thy uuzgns of your commumty than ri to commug to umkc thosL mrorrrphbhrrrguts whrch wlll Loutrlbutr to thy Url. 1tv.r yrovwth of your goruruumty SLIM, rud nruou IQY I l NN XNT Suparlntrrldrru - 1 IV D ,. , y L , .
