Gold Emblem Chapter The Tonica F, F.A, was awarded the National Gold Emblem award for Safety at the National F. F.A, Convention in Kansas City this year, and Larry Stillwell becomes the third Tonica F. F.A. member to receive the American Farmer Degree. Other activities of the F.F.A. - Tom Gualandi received State Farmer degree, and was winner of the State Safety Award. Scott Lambert was in- dividual winner in the Section 7 Land Classification contest. The Meat Judging team was rated Superior. Tonica F. F.A. was sixth in State Oh those big brown eyes American Heritage Program, and received the U. S. Treasury Department Award, Gold Emblem chapter in Corn Harvest and Tractor Safety, program and we had a display at the State Convention. We had plenty of watermelon for everyone. Ag Ill class put up a new set of wood signs Our American Heritage - Agri- culture.
