A com- plicated routine was presented to the girls at the beginning of each week, and was perfected by performance time the following Saturday. ln fact, the girls became expert hula-hoopers as a result of preparation for one half-time show. The 1958 color guard fat rightj included fstandingp Marian Perlman, Sandie Harween, Tonia Agnoli,Toni Jardel, and Ann Snellingg Qkneelingy Karen Maynard and Barbara Dragotta. Besides cheering at the games, the girls were busy making signs, holding pep rallies, and, in general, boosting the sportsmanship and spirit of all the students. Co-captains were Pat Baxter and Alice Jones. Cheerleaders were B e t t y Sue A n g e n, Pat Cimaglia, Joanne King, Penny Hotaling, JoAnn Russo, and Nolah Scully. Substitutes were Sarah Condit and Sue Witt. The drill team, a group of forty girls under the direction of Barbara Crane, was newlyformed this year under the sponsorship of the Cheer- o-Kee Club. Sitting on top of the 'T' are JoAnn Russo a.nd Pat Cimaglia, In the inegaphones are Pat Baxter and Alice Jones, co-captains. Standing between them is Diane Gargan, mascot.
