A We frosh have begun our trek down the long trail towards our graduation day, which we hope, will he in 47. September 7th we struggled painfully arranging our schedules, which proved to be a problem-on our very first day of school! 'lihe following day was hard on the leather and rubber soles as we trudged through the halls to classes just long enough to be assigned desks and those he- loved textbooks. Une of our first class meetings was devoted to the election of class officers. 'lihey were chosen thus: Harold Thompson, president, 'liom Rose, vice-president, and June Roberts, secretary and treas- urer. Kliss KIcCormick and Blrs. Kelley are our class advisors. A committee of the freshmen plotted and schemed for several days to prepare a pep session pre- ceding a football game. hlembers of the team, as a result, had their fortunes told by the great palm- ist, Blme. Lazonga, with the aid of her assistant. lfvidently the team must have been overjoyed with the prospects of the future as they plunged through the line gaining a victory for T. H.
