FRESHMEN GIRLS VOLLEYBALL The ninth grade volleyball team did very well cut the Mauston Tour- nament. They won 9 games and lost 2. The losses were from the Sparta sophomore team. In the volleyball season they had 0 spec- tacular 8 and 0 record! The girls said they liked their 2 coaches, Coach Zahrte and Coach Leonard. Team members said they practiced their skills until they had them perfected. This is her second year coaching. When asked if she thought it was a successful season, Mrs. Bay- er said, Yes, the girls learned 0 lot of skills but their record wasn't too good. Mouston was the toughest team but probably won't be so hard to beat next year. All of the girls enjoyed having Mrs. Boyer for a coach and hope she keeps on coaching volleyball.
