I thought we were painting the BLEACHERS ! The Student Council this year has really tried to bring the students together and make them proud of The New Tolt High, This has been a very successful year for the Student Council under the able leadership of Dave Andrews, Presidentg Ernie Heide, Vice Presidentg Patty DeBoer, Treasurerg and Peg Maneval, Secretary, Their activities have been examples of the thought and preparation that goes into all of their work, These activities include selling Demon sweat shirts, the Carnival, a spaghetti dinner, and bettering our school by getting new vending machines, and by making the school grounds more attractive. a ll 4,- -uv Q...-5-. The students that do this have to work very hard to maintain their good standing and are proud to be members. The Honor Society makes two trips a year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. This year they went to the McChord Air Force Base for their fall trip. Their spring trip usually consists of a three-day camping trip to Sun Lakes. The activities they've had this year to earn money in- clude selling donuts at various school plays and a car wash fin the rain.J LEFT TO RIGHT: Secretaryg J. But with a little considera- tion and thought, the idea developed and with the help of Coach Logan, a team was formed. Gradually, the students' disbelief gave way to pride as many of the boys won their matches. Even though our boys fought well, we lost our meets. Mr. Logan believes our losses were mostly due to lack of wrestlers in certain weight categories, which caused us to lose points, All in all Mr. Logan is satisfied with the work of the team. He thinks wrestling has a bright future at TOLT, and hopes there is a bigger turnout next year. You can pin HIM! The winner! FRONT ROW, left to right: G. Gilbcrtson, L. Duckcn, D. Butler, S.
