REFLECTIONS OF ’65 This year's Pioneer is quite similar toa mirror which reflects images and actions. The achievements of Tolleston’s students, faculty, and athletic teams reflect the high standards of our school. This year's annual attempts to share with you some of the highlights and vibrant moments experienced by the Tolleston family this year. The Senior Class of 1965 is the epitome of Tolleston’s high standards--the real re- flector of the entire student body, school spirit, and faculty work. Whether the members of this class succeed or fail after leaving Tolleston will depend upon the knowl- edges gained and values obtained during the entire of their high school experience. The Sophomore and Junior Classes have begun to develop their potentialities, character, and personalities. They play an important role in the effective operation of our organizations and school spirit. Together with the Freshman Class, whose ability to readily adjust to the high school situation was remarkable, these classes show great promise for success of future Senior classes. The accent on excellence which the faculty and administratorsconstantlydemand of the s.udents reflects the high caliber of the Tolleston faculty. The administrators took a deep interest in the progress and behavior of the entire student Body. Faculty was always willing to meet any difficulties which arose for any student. Tolleston High School can be proud of the fine athletic teams which represent it. We may not be the victors in all of our endeavors, but at times we have been victorious over the best. We compete with the sense of fair play in our minds and a strong will to win. Whenever we win, joy reigns, but when we loose, we always keep in mind the saying, It matters not who won or lost, but how the game was played. Keeping this in mind, we are now pre- pared to embark on a journey to view the REFLECTIONS OF '65 2
